2026 Race Recap
What a night! Runners took on Ireland's highest road 5K, tackling the climbs of Ballybrack Road and Boranaraltry Lane as the sun set over the Dublin Mountains. From first-timers to seasoned club runners, the atmosphere in Glencullen was electric from the start line right through to the BBQ and prize-giving back at Stars of Erin GAA.
Thanks to our runners, volunteers, marshals, and sponsors, the 2026 Dublin Mountain 5K helped raise vital funds for the Alzheimer Society of Ireland — a huge community effort we're incredibly proud of. See you all again next year!

Starting and finishing at Dublin Mountain Community Centre (Home of Stars Of Erin GAA Club), Glencullen, the course runs two loops along quiet country roads via Ballybrack Road (R116) and Boranaraltry Lane, surrounded by rolling hills and mountain views.

Alzheimer's disease and related dementias affect tens of thousands of families across Ireland. The Alzheimer Society of Ireland provides vital support services, information, and advocacy for those living with dementia and their carers.
A financial contribution from the proceeds of this year's race will be made directly to the Society. Every entry you make helps us give back to this vital cause.
Race-Day Essentials
Key practical information for a smooth and enjoyable evening in Glencullen — from arrival and bag drop to prizes and post-race plans.
Limited parking is available on the night at the GAP Adventure Centre, Community Centre, D18 Y673 — please car-share where possible and follow marshal instructions.
Yes, a supervised bag drop area will be available at the Community Centre from 6:00pm.
Yes! Join us back at the Community Centre for refreshments, prize presentations, and a chance to relax with fellow runners.
Yes — there will be a water station at the finish line.
You can pick up your race number at the Community Centre in advance of the run — pop by early so you can relax, soak in the atmosphere, and get ready to enjoy the race!
Prizes will be awarded to the top male and female finishers overall, plus category prizes across various age groups.
No — under 18s (minimum age 13) race alongside everyone else on the same 5K course, at a reduced entry fee.
Free t-shirts are guaranteed for the first 250 entries received via Eventmaster — enter early to make sure you get yours.
